NaPoWriMo 2018

Last year for NaPoWriMo I did a poem exchange with Joanna Penn Cooper, and we ended up getting a chapbook out of our collaboration. We're exchanging poems this year, too, along with a few other writers, but I'm also teaching an online poem-a-day workshop through Convivium School.

My goal is to write a poem a day in response to the same prompt I give the writers in my workshop, but if I don't run dry too quickly I may also write a second poem a day, in response to the NaPoWriMo prompts, because it's fascinating to be taking on a theme shared wish so many others, at the same time, and still know that each of us is doing something completely new.

I'll use this space to share some of my NaPoWriMo poems, in a brief and transient sort of way.
